Makeup has been an integral part of my life since before I can remember as it has always been the perfect creative outlet for my obsession with skincare and fresh new looks. It came as no surprise that I began my professional journey into makeup at age 22 over a counter at MAC. After four years of working counters and receiving professional training with the top cosmetic brands, I decided to go out on my own. This lead me into a four-year whirlwind that resulted in creating bridal, beauty, and fashion editorials, collaborating with fashion shows, events, web content, branding, social media, as well as traveling the world for weddings, editorials and music videos. All of this work, experience, knowledge and crazy hours had me craving realness and simplicity. This realization drove me to find a new home for my creative passions resulting in becoming the lead mua + creative director at The Green Kiss, a Canadian online + beauty boutique. Their curated selection of natural and effective clean beauty products gave me a newfound love for the beauty industry and that realness I had been craving. Two years ago, after almost a decade working for the top conventional beauty brands and almost 20 years of wearing makeup, I made the switch and went totally Green. Working in this industry, you hear about toxic products and the long-term side effects of the products you use every day, but it’s easy to lie to yourself.  I used to say, “I’m sure it’s not that bad,” or “What option do I have really?” I’m here to say you do have a choice, and when I finally "saw the light" as I put it, there was no turning back. It’s here that I have found a way to apply all of my knowledge, give back and create amazing connections helping people create positive change and a healthier lifestyle #maketheswitch.

- Philosophy -
I believe in the experience of beauty. I believe every woman can, and should, be able to indulge in the act of feeling beautiful on a daily basis. Most importantly, I believe we are all unique. Your makeup shouldn’t just be a daily routine; it should be a reflection of your genuine personality and unique style. Me? I am down to earth, I feel my most beautiful when my diet is balanced, my skin is clear and I'm rocking t-shirt and jeans. I let my work represent my honest self, and urge you to do the same. Natural radiance comes from the inside, makeup is simply the tool that I use to highlight and polish your best self.
